WELCOME TO THE SOCIETY
yestarday is a very tiring day for me because yestarday i went to work a part time job at "friends" restaurant. i heard that it is one of the 50 top dining restaurant, even the boss was featured on the newspaper.
yestarday i was allocated to go to catering part with aloy (my mentor), jun yuan and cheryl.we were sent to do a catering service at a bunglow somewhere at serangoon. there is only one thing i can say about the host... he is so damn
RICH. he held a party just in front of his own pool and he even hired a fire eater to entertain his guests. all of his guest were all either caucasions or very fluent english speaking chinese.
i was glad that i was allocated to the bar counter, all need to do is just open bottles of beers and wine of the people, and thats not it, the people even came to talk to me, i can really say caucasions are really friendly and funny unlike asian people who were mostly vice versa.(you should know what i mean.)
after the whole thing, when all of us were packing up all of the stuffs ready to carry them up back to the company van, something happen. the van which was parked close to the soil was tilted and stucked, all of us tried pushing it back until all of our veins were popping out but it wont budge. we have no chioce but just to wait for the towing van which will arrive 2hrs later and our boss. while waiting , i sneaked back to the party place to grab a can of cold beer, at least it can waste some of the time.
when boss arrived, he gave us a ride exept aloy, to the main road to take a taxi back to dining place to grab our belongings, there we met up with stella and steve. all of us just sat around chatting about what happen during work, until we saw the company van driving back. all of us just went back to help out and boss treated us at mac. and tht is what rougly happen during my first day of f&b work.
